KKM Media Statement 15 may 2021

The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) also known as KKM would like to inform the latest status of COVID-19 cases in Malaysia until 15 May 2021 (noon);

 

    Cured cases: 3,432 cases (422,329 cumulative cases, 90.6%);

    New cases: 4,140 cases (466,330 cumulative cases);

    Import cases: 9 cases (9 citizens);

    Local cases: 4,131 cases [3,728 citizens (90.2%); 403 non -citizens (9.8%)];

    Active cases: 42,135 cases;

    Cases requiring treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU): 503 cases;

    Cases requiring respiratory assistance: 272 cases;

    Death cases: 44 cases (1,866 cumulative cases, 0.40%; 43 citizens, 1 non -citizen);

    Number of clusters: 1,876 clusters;

    Number of new clusters: 15 clusters;

    Number of clusters that have expired: 1,410 clusters; and

    The number of active clusters: 466 clusters.

There are 44 death cases today involving 26 cases in Selangor, five (5) cases in Kelantan, four (4) cases in Sarawak, three (3) cases each in Kedah and Johor, two (2) cases in WP Kuala Mud, and one (1) case in Negeri Sembilan.
